Building conservation can cover a vast spectrum of works beyond those listed above. The skills and applied knowledge transcend many trades and encompass a variety of aspects and materials that form the fabric of an historic building. With this in mind, if you have a conservation/restoration requirement not listed above, or need advice pertaining to such a requirement, please do not hesitate in dropping Michael a line.

ædicule is now offering a complete service to revitalise the façade of your home, giving extended life to and drastically improving the appearance of old stone.
There is no need to worry about the extent of decay. I rarely come across stone beyond repair and you’ll be amazed at the finished result (samples available for inspection prior to quote). In addition, don’t be put off if your stone is painted, more often than not I can remove all trace of it non-abrasively.
Surveys and written estimates are free and in most cases I can offer a complete package of cleaning, consolidation and repair for under £1000. |

All materials and practices follow a strict conservation philosophy and use microporous (‘breathable’) materials, such as lime, that are known not to cause any further damage to your building. |
