ædicule is the trading name of Michael Alexander Brown, an Architectural Conservator specialising in the repair, restoration and conservation of all architectural stone.

With years of experience carrying out conservation work and repairs upon notable structures such as Ely Cathedral, Greenwich Naval College (Christopher Wren) and many of the colleges that form Cambridge University, I am now offering my services to institutions, other companies and owners of domestic property.

At present ædicule is very small (employing just Michael), thus its overheads are almost nonexistent. This often enables ædicule to comfortably quote for projects at half the price of its larger competitors; a price which until now has been readily accepted for the skill and expertise offered!

In addition, and in my opinion of paramount importance, it allows enough time for fastidious work resulting in the only acceptable finish.

ædicule is based in Cambridgeshire working both locally and on an expanding radius, depending on the scope of works.
